The British-Palestinian artist, Mona Hatoum is one the world’s leading contemporary artists. Her work often explores themes of identity, displacement, exile, the human condition, and the conflicts and contradictions of our world.

During her visit to AZULIK, we were able to learn about the fundamentals of her creative process, the underlying themes of her works, her artistic vision, her motivations, and the messages she seeks to convey in her works of art.
