The natural and feminine designs of Kris Goyri arrived in Tulum

The Mexican designer is one of the most recognized in the fashion industry for knowing how to express the modern Latin American woman’s desires in his elegant creations.

No one can deny that Kris Goyri has managed to conquer the Mexican fashion industry; just look at the expectation he generates every time he presents a new collection during national Fashion Weeks. In addition, the designer has become a noteworthy cultural representative, positioning himself as the favorite designer of sophisticated Latin American women.

He graduated from the Institute of Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Moda Casa de Francia in Mexico City.  In 2008, Goyri, at the early age of 22, began his professional career after winning the third edition of Mexico Diseña by ELLE, a platform whose purpose is to discover and promote new talents.

A year later, he moved to Spain to do a Master inFootwear and Accessory Designat the European Institute of Designin Barcelona, ​​thus improving his knowledge of color and collection organization, but above all to establish his distinctive style.

Back in Mexico

Kris focused on playing with materials and textures to impregnate his designs with freshness, subtlety, and femininity. He defines his proposal as “elegant and natural”. Finally, in 2010, he founded his luxury brand and sought collaborations with important national brands such as El Palacio de Hierro, Pineda Covalin, and jewelry collector Bárbara Berger.

“Each garment designed by Kris is made for a very feminine woman, who perfectly balances body and mind, who loves nature and highlights her beauty with unique pieces,” reads his official biography.

Today, with more than 25 collections under his belt -the most recent Fall / Winter 2019– Kris Goyri arrived at Tulum in association with ZAK IK, AZULIK’s fashion boutique, where visitors from all over the world can take home a piece of modern Mexican culture represented in his designs.
